A wide range of courses

Wilbury School of Massage and Reflexology

Training in Massage, Reflexology and Neutral-Space Relaxation.
One day introductory courses, short courses, Level 3 Diploma and CPD.

Training in Massage with the Wilbury School is an excellent way to begin your journey into bodywork practice.  The Wilbury School's massage is unique - it was especially devised as a routine to include many effective health giving techniques, which can be tailored to individual client needs, and has grown to become a highly regarded, classical massage training in its own right.

Sports Massage Therapy

This Level 3 Diploma course provides an excellent start to a rewarding career in Sports Massage. Tutor Trevor Gorard has extensive experience as an ITEC tutor and as a Sports Massage Practitioner. You will learn a range of advanced massage techniques to prevent and manage injury in Sport and Active Leisure - and learn to critically evaluate massage strategies and methods to advise on future treatments.

Applicants do not have to be qualified in Massage, but a good working knowledge of anatomy & physiology is required. If applicants do not have this knowledge, the Wilbury are able to provide an A&P e-learning course at an additional fee.

Neutral-Space Relaxation

Training in Neutral Space Relaxation techniques offers practitioners a simple but effective treatment where the emphasis is on pure relaxation. It is gentle on the therapist making it an excellent ‘add-on’ treatment. It works to bring about a state of balance in the whole body. It uses gentle techniques to dissolve any tension and stress and patterns within the nervous system, cranial, spinal and musculoskeletal areas.

Training in Reflexology with the Wilbury will give you the practical skills and in depth knowledge about how to work the reflexes on the hands and feet in order to bring about balance and wellbeing. Very much a hands-on approach to learning, our courses enable you to work on family and friends or we can help you on the path to full practitioner status.

Why Train with the Wilbury?

The Wilbury School has been training practitioners for over 30 years. We believe in putting our students at the heart of learning and provide an experiential, ‘hands-on’ and fun learning environment. Our ITEC Diploma exam pass rates are excellent, and our tutors, who are all practising therapists, are always happy to give you advice and support.

Come and see what other students have said about us? Whether it is a one of our Intro days, Diploma Level 3 or a CPD course we would love to welcome you to a new and exciting journey of learning and self−discovery.
